Philips HueModule Overview
HueBridge connects to your Philips Hue Bridge via its local REST API and gives you direct control over every light and scene. Toggle lights on/off, adjust brightness per fixture, recall any Hue scene with a custom intensity level — all from within your Q-SYS design. A master section lets you turn everything on or off and set a global brightness in one click. The plugin auto-discovers all lights and scenes from your bridge. Each light shows a reachability indicator so you know instantly if a fixture is offline. An adjustable poll rate with automatic reconnection on timeout keeps the system reliable for permanent installations. Setup takes 30 seconds: the plugin includes a step-by-step guide right in the layout. Open your bridge's debug page, press the link button, POST one line, and paste the username. Toggle Connect and your lights appear. No cloud, no middleware, no complexity — just reliable local HTTP control. All controls are exposed as UserPins for integration with ShowMind, UCI, GPIO, Show Controller, or any Q-SYS workflow. Local HTTP only — no internet required after initial pairing.
