NovaStarModule Overview
ScreenBridge puts professional display control inside your Q-SYS design. Select the display model in Properties and the plugin becomes the right driver — no external control processor, no custom scripting. For Iiyama ProLite displays (LHxx60, LHxx64, LHxx75 series over SICP/TCP), ScreenBridge covers the full operating surface: power on/off with multi-packet Wake-on-LAN, input selection, volume and audio-out with mute, brightness/contrast/sharpness, screen mute, freeze, and live temperature readback. For NovaStar VX400 LED processors, it handles brightness and input source switching (HDMI1, HDMI2, DVI, SDI) over TCP. The engine is built for permanent installations: continuous status polling keeps Q-SYS in sync with the real device state, continuous controls are debounced so faders never flood the device, and connections recover automatically. Every control is exposed as a Q-SYS pin for UCI, GPIO, Show Controller, and ShowMind integration. ScreenBridge is also built to grow: LG, Sony, and PJLink Class 1/2 drivers are already in the codebase on standby, and will be enabled in future releases. And you can evaluate it risk-free — without a license, the plugin runs fully featured for 10 minutes on a physical Core (unlimited in Designer emulation).
